About the role
We are looking for a Maths Graduate to join a welcoming secondary school in Brent as a Maths Support Assistant. You will work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting them to access the maths curriculum and build confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Support SEN students during maths lessons, providing one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance.
- Collaborate with experienced maths teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
- Assist pupils with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and Speech & Language difficulties.
- Help develop reading comprehension, written communication, spelling and grammar skills.
- Encourage student engagement, independence and confidence.
Required profile
- A degree in a maths‑based subject.
- Passion for education and supporting young people.
- Interest in teaching, SEND, educational psychology or pastoral support.
- Experience working with children or young people.
