Maths Teacher – Full‑Time Long‑Term Position in Cambridgeshire

About the role
We are partnering with a Good‑rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire to recruit a passionate Maths Teacher for a full‑time, long‑term placement starting September 2026. The successful candidate will join a supportive leadership team and help deliver high‑quality mathematics education to Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for secondary students.
- Assess, monitor and record student progress, providing timely feedback.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and wider school activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire students.
- Excellent communication, organisational and safeguarding awareness.
