Maths Teacher – Full‑time position in Horsham

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school community near Horsham. The successful candidate will deliver engaging mathematics lessons, inspire a love of the subject and support students in reaching their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality maths lessons across key stages.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum and departmental resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues and senior leadership to promote a positive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings and extracurricular activities as required.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Passion for mathematics and a commitment to student achievement.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a supportive, collaborative team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in delivering the national maths curriculum.
- Experience using educational technology and digital resources for maths instruction.
