Maths Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Maths Teacher to join our forward‑thinking secondary school in East London. The role primarily involves teaching Mathematics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for suitably qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Plan, mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.
• Support learners of all abilities to achieve excellent outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the Maths curriculum.
• Maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
