Maths Teacher – Part‑time Supply & Short‑term Roles in Bury

About the role

Veritas Education is recruiting qualified and experienced Maths teachers for day‑to‑day supply, short‑term and longer‑term assignments across secondary schools in Bury. Positions are available immediately and for September starts, offering flexible part‑time work.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 optional).
• Follow school schemes of work or deliver pre‑planned lessons.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) or experienced unqualified Maths teachers.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Reliable, flexible and committed professional attitude.
