M&E Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an engaging M&E Project Manager to join Bruntwood SciTech’s head‑office team in Manchester. You will own a diverse portfolio of mechanical and electrical projects, acting as both technical expert and strategic leader, supporting our Net Zero Carbon ambitions and ensuring safe, compliant infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver multiple M&E projects across our campus and hub portfolio, coordinating on‑site activities in various regions as required.
• Ensure all works comply with statutory regulations such as NIC, F‑Gas, Gas Safe, CDM and asbestos control.
• Manage project budgets, contracts and financial reporting, maintaining cost control and value for money.
• Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external contractors to drive design, installation and commissioning.
• Identify and mitigate risks, adapt to changing priorities and provide proactive problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing mechanical and/or electrical projects, preferably within the built environment.
• Ability to handle several projects simultaneously while building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a customer‑focused mindset.
