About the role
We are looking for an experienced Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join a well‑established garage in the Reading area. The role offers a stable, full‑time position within a professional and supportive team, working Monday to Friday with every other Saturday.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
- Perform inspections and MOT testing.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and resolve vehicle issues.
- Execute vehicle repairs to a high standard.
Required profile
- Strong practical mechanical experience.
- Qualified MOT Tester (essential).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues effectively.
- Reliable, hardworking, and team‑focused attitude.
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

What we offer
- Competitive salary £35,000‑£50,000 per year, dependent on experience.
