Mechanical Assembler / Fitter – Full‑time, Mon‑Fri

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler / Fitter to join a well‑established manufacturer in the South West. The role involves assembling, fitting and installing a variety of machinery and equipment in a modern workshop, working Monday to Friday on a days‑based schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and fitting of machinery and equipment.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Fitter or Assembly Technician in manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong practical skills with hand and power tools.
