About the role
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a well‑established electro‑mechanical manufacturer in Wincanton. The role is office‑based with workshop duties, offering a £26,000 salary and full training.
Key responsibilities
- Strip, repair and rebuild a variety of mechanical products.
- Assemble components and fit products according to specifications.
- Carry out quality checks and final inspections.
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, production or manufacturing.
- Ability to work on a 37‑hour week, Monday‑Friday, with no night or weekend shifts.
- Willingness to undergo on‑the‑job training.
