About the role
Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer in North Lanarkshire, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Biased Maintenance Engineer. You will join a dynamic engineering team, supporting plant machinery and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out repairs, routine testing and maintenance on all plant equipment.
- Maintain workshop spares and support stock control for the allocated area.
- Complete planned maintenance work orders and ensure accurate audit documentation.
- Proactively develop preventative maintenance mechanisms and support KPI improvements.
Required profile
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
- Experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work early and late rotating shifts.
Required skills
- PLC programming and automation systems.
- Hydraulics.
- Pneumatics.
