Mechanical Construction Manager

About the role

Join a rapidly growing main contractor in the mission‑critical construction sector as a Mechanical Construction Manager. You will lead on‑site mechanical installation for large‑scale projects, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee on‑site mechanical installation, coordination and delivery of complex construction projects.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to maintain the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance.
• Run daily progress meetings, report on milestones and keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate with design, commercial and project management teams for seamless execution.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, health & safety regulations and client specifications.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical background in building services or industrial construction.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical or data‑centre projects.
• Experience overseeing HVAC, pipework, plumbing, chilled water, heating systems and associated mechanical plant.
• Ability to lead site teams, resolve technical issues and maintain a proactive delivery approach.
• Willingness to work on‑site five days a week with flexibility to travel or stay away as needed.
