Mechanical Contracts Manager – MEP Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale MEP projects across commercial, healthcare, life‑science and residential sectors. You will own mechanical contracts from inception to completion, ensuring projects meet time, budget and quality expectations while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of mechanical contracts, delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Manage procurement of plant, materials and subcontractor packages for complex MEP schemes.
• Oversee project teams, labour resources and subcontractor coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor contract performance, address issues promptly and act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality across all project activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager within the MEP/building services sector.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, subcontractor management and project delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain excellent client relationships.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills with a focus on delivering results.
