Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team in Feltham, London. You will be involved in the full product lifecycle, turning concepts into high‑quality mechanical products ready for manufacture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD software.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, bills of materials and manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with production, quality and project teams to ensure designs are practical, cost‑effective and meet specifications.
• Support product development from concept through testing, validation and manufacturing.
• Participate in design reviews and drive design improvements.
• Liaise with suppliers and resolve technical queries during manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor or Creo.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail and good communication skills.
