Mechanical & Electrical Projects Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Projects Coordinator to manage the M&E elements of design‑and‑build projects across the UK. The role will involve working from our Berkshire head office and travelling to multiple sites, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review client requirements and design drawings against company standards.
• Coordinate between designers, clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Attend client meetings, advise on changes and respond to contractor queries.
• Monitor M&E work programmes alongside construction schedules.
• Oversee on‑site installation activities and support commissioning programmes.
• Review variation costs and maintain O&M manuals.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an electrical construction supervisory or management role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to travel across UK project sites, including occasional overnight stays.
• Positive, self‑driven and adaptable mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electrical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of BS7671 electrical standards.
• BS2391 testing & inspection certification.
• Electrical apprenticeship qualifications.
• Understanding of electrical regulations, including fire alarm and CCTV systems.
