Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Osbit is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver innovative offshore wind engineering systems. You will own projects from concept through detailed design, testing and commissioning, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure on‑spec, on‑budget, on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design innovative mechanical systems from first principles, progressing from concept to detailed design while maintaining technical excellence.
• Manage project deliverables to meet schedule targets, including preparation of technical documentation and design calculations for peer review.
• Coordinate supplier progress, hold regular meetings and provide on‑site support.
• Plan and execute testing, commissioning and mobilisation activities.
• Liaise with finance, HSSEQ and other business functions for guidance and support.
• Share knowledge with teammates through working groups and presentations.
