About the role
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our rotating days shift team. You will work closely with shift and production managers as well as technicians to keep the centre’s assets running efficiently, ensuring high volume output at the right quality.
Key responsibilities
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
- Support line breakdowns and commissioning activities.
- Use the SAP system to record work, assist in planning and contribute to overall effectiveness.
- Participate in training programmes and mentor apprentices.
- Maintain the highest engineering standards to support product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and challenge the status quo.
Required profile
- Qualified to ONC level or equivalent.
- Apprentice experience is valued.
- Flexible, enthusiastic and self‑motivated.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- SAP (maintenance management system).
