Mechanical Engineering Tutor – Trainee (Full‑time)

About the role

Are you a time‑served Mechanical Engineer ready to ‘down tools’ and transition your expertise into a rewarding training career? This trainee tutor position requires your engineering knowledge while the employer provides all training and qualifications needed to become an instructor.

Key responsibilities

• Teach, coach and mentor learners undertaking Level 2 and Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
• Deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of the mechanical engineering programmes.
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance to apprentices in line with awarding‑body standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant occupational experience in Mechanical Engineering (maintenance or design preferred).
• Mandatory Level 3 engineering‑related qualification.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required.
