Mechanical Fitter – Assembly & Global Installations

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a rapidly growing engineering business based in Bristol. The role combines workshop assembly of bespoke machinery with the opportunity to travel internationally to support installations and service visits.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and fit bespoke electrical and mechanical machinery in a state‑of‑the‑art workshop.
• Manage day‑to‑day workshop operations, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Travel to global sites, including South Africa and the UAE, to assist with equipment installation and commissioning.
• Provide on‑site servicing and support for installed machinery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a fitter or assembler with a solid mechanical background.
• Willingness to work flexible hours within core times (6 am‑6 pm).
• Ability to travel abroad as required.
