About the role
We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a leading aviation‑focused company in Stroud. The role is hands‑on and static, offering training on bespoke equipment and clear pathways for progression.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble and install fluid transfer systems, including pumps, valves and pipework.
- Carry out routine maintenance, fault‑finding and repairs on mechanical equipment.
- Ensure all installations meet safety and performance standards.
- Work with tools to bend and fit pipe, and support the mechanical division’s projects.
Required profile
- Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics or pipe‑bending.
- Ability to work accurately in a static, onsite environment.
- Willingness to undertake training and develop new technical skills.
