About the role

Our client, a successful precision engineering company based in Byfleet, is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join their manufacturing team. The role involves assembling sheet‑metal and precision‑machined components to exact specifications while adhering to strict quality and deadline requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble sheet metal and precision‑machined parts following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and engineering drawings.
• Interpret technical drawings to identify required tooling and components.
• Ensure all assembled parts meet quality standards and manufacturing deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience working as a Mechanical Fitter.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Proficiency in selecting and using appropriate tooling for component assembly.
• Commitment to delivering work that meets customer specifications.
