Mechanical Inspector – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role
We are seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join a well‑established aerospace manufacturing company near Camberley, Surrey. The role is day‑shift focused, handling both first‑off and final inspections of precision‑machined components.
Key responsibilities
- Perform first‑off inspection activities on aerospace machined parts.
- Carry out final inspections ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using PC‑DMIS software.
- Measure components with micrometres, vernier calipers and other precision tools.
- Apply GD&T principles to verify dimensional accuracy.
Required profile
- Experience in mechanical inspection within an aerospace or high‑precision manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CMM equipment and willingness to receive PC‑DMIS training.
- Ability to work the specified day‑shift hours.
