Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Bexley

About the role

This is a high‑performing Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position within a state‑of‑the‑art, fully automated manufacturing facility in Bexley. The site has recently received major investment and offers a fast‑paced environment for engineers to sharpen technical expertise and progress toward senior or management roles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical fault‑finding on production machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns and execute reactive maintenance.
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Proven mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Hands‑on experience with pre‑planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Strong mechanical fault‑finding abilities.
• Mechanical engineering qualification.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment; UK sector experience is desirable.
