Mechanical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead M&E projects across education, commercial, healthcare, leisure, industrial, heritage and residential sectors. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and to the required standards while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control mechanical and electrical project activities from inception to completion.
• Manage project budgets, costs and financial reporting for contracts up to £10 million.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure clear roles and responsibilities for all project staff and monitor performance.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Qualified Project Manager with proven experience on M&E projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full contract lifecycles and large‑value (£10 M) projects.
• Strong communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in sectors such as education, commercial, healthcare, leisure, industrial, heritage or high‑end residential.
