Mechanical Pump Engineer (Field Based)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Pump Engineer to join a reputable, locally‑based company delivering water and wastewater pump solutions across the UK. The role is field‑based, offering a stable, full‑time position with a focus on work‑life balance and minimal overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain a variety of water and wastewater pumps for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
• Carry out routine inspections, fault diagnosis and corrective repairs on pump and motor systems.
• Work on large‑scale commercial and industrial sites within a 50‑mile radius of Newport.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Mechanical Pump Engineer with experience in pump installation and maintenance.
• Valid UK driver’s licence.
• Ability to work independently in the field and manage a local patch efficiently.
