Mechanical Service Technician – Team Leader

About the role

This permanent, field‑based position is based in West London and covers the London/South East region. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining fall‑protection equipment while also leading a small team of junior technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on installation, inspection and maintenance of suspended access and fall‑protection systems on construction and building‑maintenance sites.
• Provide technical advice and liaison with clients to ensure compliance and safety standards.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members, delegating tasks and reviewing their work.
• Utilise a company vehicle for travel to multiple sites and attend occasional Saturday shifts.
• Complete industry‑specific training and maintain up‑to‑date certifications.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background with experience in a client‑facing role.
• Proven team‑leading experience in a field service environment.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to work at heights.
• Residency in or around London.
