Mechanical Technician Supervisor – Manufacturing (Milton Keynes)

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is for a Mechanical Technician who will lead a small team building bespoke X‑ray cabinets and equipment in a newly‑opened workshop. You will coordinate daily tasks, provide technical guidance and ensure projects meet design specifications and delivery deadlines. The role offers a mix of hands‑on assembly work and supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support a growing team of mechanical assemblers and fitters.
• Coordinate daily work, assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Build and assemble bespoke X‑ray cabinets and related equipment.
• Liaise with internal departments to guarantee on‑time, specification‑compliant delivery.
• Optional overtime at enhanced rates (1.5× weekdays, 2× Sundays).

Required profile

• Experience as a Mechanical Assembler or Fitter within a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to take on a lead/supervisory role.
• Ability to commute to the Milton Keynes workshop.
