Media Technician (Part‑time, Term‑time)

About the role

The College is seeking a part‑time Media Technician (term‑time only) to deliver high‑quality technical support to staff and students. You will work closely with the Media & Film Department, helping learners develop practical media production skills while maintaining specialist equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical assistance during teaching sessions and workshops.
• Maintain, service and manage audio‑visual and video‑production equipment.
• Support filming and editing sessions, ensuring smooth operation of relevant software.
• Create and update user guides, troubleshooting documentation and resource materials.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of group workshops on filming, editing and media software.

What we offer

• Pro‑rata salary of £4,921 per annum (equivalent to £26,500 full‑time) inclusive of fringe allowance.
