Medical Devices Service Technician

About the role

As a Medical Devices Service Technician you will ensure that critical nutrition equipment operates reliably for Abbott Nutrition clients. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, based in Sittingbourne and follows Abbott’s global and local procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough servicing, diagnosis and repair of nutritional devices, including feed pumps and related components.
• Conduct incoming and outgoing functional tests and maintain accurate paper and electronic records of all activities.
• Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) through excellent housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Identify and suggest improvements to processes and documentation.
• Mentor new and existing colleagues by sharing best practices.

Required profile

• Technical mindset with prior experience in a technical field, either professional or personal.
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to tasks.
• Proficiency with computers, databases and spreadsheets.
