About the role

The Medical Editor ensures the editorial integrity and factual accuracy of all marketing materials produced by BGB Group. Working within U.S. Eastern Time business hours, you will guarantee that content complies with AMA style, client guidelines, and FDA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Edit initial drafts for AMA style, client style, FDA rules, grammar, spelling, and consistency across campaigns.
• Fact‑check scientific and medical data to ensure accurate representation of source material.
• Maintain formatting and visual layout quality.
• Perform full editorial reviews, including copy‑edits, W4Ws, fact‑checks, and change tracking throughout the job lifecycle.
• Create and update comprehensive style guides for assigned accounts.
• Participate in kickoff and status meetings, contributing to timeline development.
• Track time spent on each job daily and keep supervisors informed of workload and status.
• Provide backup support to other editorial team members and mentor newer staff.
• Utilise BGB‑provided tools such as GlobalVision Verify and ChatGPT Enterprise to assist reviews.

Required profile

• Strong command of English grammar and AMA editorial standards.
• Ability to interpret scientific and medical data accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Availability to work during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GlobalVision Verify.
• Experience using ChatGPT Enterprise for editorial assistance.
