About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Assistant to work within a dynamic school environment in Wokingham. You will help children and young people manage anxiety, trauma and a range of social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The role offers a structured, supportive setting with consistent hours and competitive daily pay.
Key responsibilities
- Provide tailored emotional and behavioural support to students dealing with anxiety, trauma and other mental health challenges.
- Assist students in managing emotions and developing coping strategies in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and mental health professionals to create personalised support plans.
- Foster trust and a sense of belonging for students who have experienced instability or hardship.

What we offer
- Full‑time, onsite role (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM).
