MEP Manager – Hospital New Build

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to lead the mechanical, electrical and plumbing works for a new £25 million hospital wing in Ashford, Kent. The project runs alongside a fully operational hospital, requiring flawless service continuity through to 2029.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design, installation and integration of all MEP systems on the new build.
• Plan and execute service diversions and tie‑ins to ensure zero disruption to the existing hospital facilities.
• Coordinate closely with construction teams, hospital estates and clinical staff.
• Manage risk, commissioning and handover procedures in line with healthcare standards.
• Ensure compliance with HTM regulations and other relevant codes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing MEP packages on large‑scale construction projects, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Strong communication skills to act as the bridge between contractors and hospital teams.
• Demonstrated ability to handle risk management, commissioning and handover protocols.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
