MEP Project Engineer

About the role

Our team leads the mechanical, electrical and public health engineering design and delivery for the European Head Office refurbishment of Macquarie Group. As an MEP Project Engineer you will oversee design, installation and commissioning of building services, ensuring safety, performance and sustainability standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and coordinate the design, installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and public health systems.
• Translate complex engineering issues into clear information for stakeholders.
• Provide hands‑on technical oversight, witness testing, review and approve designs.
• Direct contractors and internal teams throughout all project stages.
• Ensure compliance with safety, performance and sustainability requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in engineering design, delivery or oversight within complex built environments.
• Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably with professional membership.
• Proven experience leading engineering activities and reviewing designs.
• Ability to communicate technical challenges clearly to diverse audiences.
