Merchandiser – Retail Stock & Range Management

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Merchandiser to lead stock planning and range management across a fast‑growing fashion retailer’s 100+ store estate in South West London. You will be responsible for ensuring the right products are available at the right time while supporting commercial decisions with data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own stock levels for assigned stores, optimise turnover and minimise markdowns.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse trends and develop store‑specific merchandising strategies.
• Collaborate with buying and planning teams to manage product ranges, size allocations and mix.
• Lead forecasting processes, produce reports and present findings to senior management.
• Work with store teams to optimise visual displays and ensure consistency across branches.
• Liaise with marketing, operations, logistics and other departments to execute promotional campaigns and seasonal updates.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser in a brick‑and‑mortar retail environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
• Experience in stock management, store grading, forecasting and range planning.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
