MET Technician / Strip Fitter – Luxury Accident Repair

About the role

We are seeking a Senior MET Technician / Strip Fitter to work in a state‑of‑the‑art prestige accident repair bodyshop. You will repair luxury vehicles to manufacturers’ specifications, handling all mechanical, electrical and trim work.

Key responsibilities

• Strip and fit mechanical, electrical and interior trim components on a wide range of high‑end vehicles.
• Repair body and structural damage following manufacturer repair procedures.
• Utilise modern equipment and techniques to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the bodyshop team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.

Required profile

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter.
• Relevant technical qualification (NVQ, VCQ, SVQ or ATA).
• Proven experience working in a busy bodyshop environment.
• Strong team player with a self‑motivated attitude.

Required skills

• Mechanical component removal and replacement.
• Electrical system stripping and fitting.
• Interior trim stripping and fitting.
• Vehicle repair to manufacturer specifications using modern bodyshop equipment.
