Metadata Lead – Hybrid

About the role
This is a unique opportunity to own an enterprise metadata capability, shaping how data is discovered, governed and trusted across the organisation. As the Metadata Lead you will define the vision and roadmap for our metadata tooling landscape while working closely with data owners, stewards and IT teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, own and deliver the metadata roadmap.
- Lead configuration, rollout and value‑realisation plans for Collibra and Databricks Unity Catalog.
- Use metadata tooling and processes to enable effective Data Governance and Data Quality outcomes.
- Promote the purpose and value of metadata tools through forums, workshops and demos.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering road‑maps that generate measurable business value.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical solutions into clear business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality best practices.
Required skills
- Collibra – advanced expertise in data cataloguing and lineage.
- Databricks Unity Catalog – hands‑on experience.
