Metering Coordinator

About the role

The Metering Coordinator will act as the primary contact for the operational team before any works commence. You will be fully accountable for planning, coordinating, and managing street‑works and meter installation projects to ensure they meet schedule, regulatory, and financial requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review internal and external meter installation applications from utility customers.
• Close customer applications in triage and update account information.
• Coordinate site visits with field resources and maintain accurate records in works management systems.
• Provide daily and weekly reports to monitor service levels and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with NRSWA standards and company safety procedures.
• Escalate any issues promptly and contribute innovative solutions to improve processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the utilities sector, preferably in a planning or coordination role.
• Ability to prioritize workload, multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Logical mindset with a focus on delivering accurate and timely results.
