Microbiologist - AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced microbiologist to help train and evaluate AI chatbots that answer complex biology questions. The role is fully remote and contract‑based, allowing you to work on your own schedule from home.

Key responsibilities

• Provide AI chatbots with challenging biology queries covering cell biology, genetics, biochemistry and experimental methods.
• Assess the accuracy, logic and performance of the AI‑generated answers.
• Measure progress of AI models and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the AI development team to refine model outputs and enhance overall quality.

Required profile

• Fluency in English at native or bilingual level.
• Detail‑oriented with a solid understanding of cell biology, genetics, biochemistry and laboratory techniques.
• Current, in‑progress or completed Master’s or PhD in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Based in the United Kingdom and able to work independently as a contractor.
