Mid-level Backend Engineer

About the role

Suade, a leading RegTech SaaS provider, is seeking a mid‑level Backend Engineer to design, build and scale its regulatory reporting platform. You will own features from concept through deployment, working closely with product and engineering teams in a fast‑moving, data‑intensive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship backend features end‑to‑end, from technical design to production deployment.
• Maintain and improve existing services, ensuring reliability and accuracy of regulatory data.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑tested Python code and conduct code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers on Python best practices and software design.
• Collaborate with QA, product managers and senior engineers to deliver high‑quality releases.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience building production software in Python.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and version‑control workflows (Git).
• High attention to detail, especially when handling data that feeds regulators.
• Clear communicator able to explain technical decisions and work directly with product.
