About the role
We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join a 12‑month fixed‑term assignment at Caterpillar in Stockton‑on‑Tees. The role works a rotating weekend night shift, offering the chance to develop skills in a quality‑driven, award‑winning manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Work on build/weld fixtures to tight tolerances.
- Operate independently and as part of a team following standard procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping and adhere to PPE requirements.
- Perform manual lifting and use overhead cranes.
- Carry out jig work and other assigned tasks.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a time‑served MIG Welder.
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification.
- Ability to work night and weekend rotating shifts.
