Milk Tanker Driver – Class 1 CE Licence

About the role

Join Gregory Distribution Group as a Class 1 Milk Tanker Driver, collecting fresh milk from farms and delivering it to the dairy. You will work a 5‑on‑3‑off rota, enjoying rural routes across the South West while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Collect fresh milk from local farms and deliver it to the depot.
• Take milk samples on collection, label them correctly, and drop them off for laboratory testing.
• Perform occasional transhipment tasks and ensure timely deliveries.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team and report any issues.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay up‑to‑date with industry standards.

Required profile

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience.
• Ability to work under deadlines and provide excellent customer service.
• Good geographical knowledge of the local area.
