Milk Tanker Driver – Night Shift (Class 1)

About the role

Join Gregory Distribution Group as a Class 1 Milk Tanker Driver, responsible for collecting fresh milk from farms and delivering it to the dairy during night shifts. You will work on a 5‑on‑3‑off rota, enjoying rural routes while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Collect fresh milk from local farms and deliver it to the depot.
• Take milk samples on collection, label them correctly, and drop them off for laboratory testing.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team about progress and any issues.
• Participate in training sessions to stay up‑to‑date with industry standards.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Minimum 6 months of HGV driving experience.
• Ability to work night shifts (18:15‑04:15) on a 5‑on‑3‑off schedule.
