Minibus Driver (Term‑time, 25 hrs/week)

About the role

Claires Court is seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Minibus Driver to provide term‑time transport for pupils. Working Monday to Friday, you will ensure a punctual, friendly service while upholding the school’s high standards of safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport pupils on designated routes and to school activities.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and basic weekly maintenance.
• Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate passenger registers and transport records.
• Monitor traffic conditions, report delays or faults promptly.
• Promote positive pupil behaviour and ensure safeguarding at all times.

Required profile

• Valid D1 or PCV driving licence.
• Previous minibus driving experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of road safety and compliance.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Calm and confident when working with children.
• Committed to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
• Flexible team player.
