Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer (Cambridge)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to service a portfolio of large retail sites across the Cambridge region. The role is field‑based, offering autonomy while being supported by an experienced operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial HVAC and air‑conditioning systems.
• Diagnose faults, carry out efficient repairs, and complete service reports and compliance documentation.
• Work on split systems, VRF/VRV systems, packaged units, Airedale and DX cooling equipment.
• Support wider building maintenance activities and participate in the regional on‑call rota.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HVAC, Air Conditioning or Field Service Engineer.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities in a mobile maintenance environment.
• Good understanding of health‑and‑safety and compliance requirements.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to manage own workload independently.
