Mobile Application Engineer

About the role

We are building a platform that brings software‑speed to traditionally manual industries such as aerospace, healthcare and energy. As a Mobile Application Engineer you will work directly with field users, translate their real‑world workflows into intuitive mobile experiences, and ship production‑grade apps from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers on‑site to understand their workflows and define mobile requirements.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end mobile features using React Native and TypeScript.
• Extend the React Native layer with native modules (Swift/Kotlin) for camera, sensors, background tasks and secure storage.
• Build offline‑first capabilities, including local persistence, conflict resolution and reliable sync.
• Integrate AI‑powered components such as LLMs or model‑backed APIs into mobile flows.
• Own the full product lifecycle: run user calls, write specs, develop, test, and release to App Store and Google Play.

Required profile

• Strong experience delivering cross‑platform mobile apps in a production environment.
• Comfortable working directly with non‑technical users and translating messy processes into clean software.
• Hands‑on attitude with high ownership and the ability to ship features quickly.
• Willingness to engage in customer calls, iterate on feedback and continuously improve the product.

Required skills

• TypeScript
• React Native (or equivalent cross‑platform framework)
• Native mobile fundamentals on iOS and Android (Swift, Kotlin)
• Experience publishing apps on App Store and Google Play
• Python (plus) for backend integration
• AI integration experience (LLMs, model‑backed APIs)
