Mobile Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to deliver electrical maintenance services across commercial sites in the Staines area. You will ensure the reliable operation of electrical systems, perform preventative and reactive work, and support minor installation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance tasks.
• Undertake minor installation projects, including power supply, lighting and distribution work.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults to achieve timely repairs.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Record maintenance activities accurately and report findings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient maintenance operations.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Installation.
• AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) certification.
• Current knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid UK driver’s licence for travel between sites.
