Mobile Engineer – Edinburgh

About the role

Based at our customer site in Edinburgh, the Mobile Engineer plays a key role in operations, ensuring equipment service schedules are up‑to‑date and responding promptly to breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update equipment service schedules.
• Respond to customer calls for equipment breakdowns.
• Carry out plant repairs and low‑level access repairs on site.
• Conduct on‑site inspections.

Required profile

• Full driving licence.
• Previous mechanical engineering experience, preferably in the hire industry or similar engineering field.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
