Mobile Engineer – Kotlin (Cross‑platform)

About the role

Join Teya, a fast‑growing fintech company, to build and enhance mobile applications that empower small and medium‑sized businesses across Europe. You will work on cross‑platform solutions using Kotlin, delivering secure, scalable, and user‑friendly experiences for merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform mobile apps with Kotlin.
• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code that solves complex business problems.
• Integrate APIs and SDKs, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Implement offline capabilities, secure data storage, push notifications, deep linking and internationalisation.
• Collaborate with design, product and backend teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Participate in architecture decisions, framework selection and tool evaluation.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, logging and observability practices.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a collaborative culture.
• Work within Agile/Scrum processes to deliver iterative improvements.

Required profile

• Strong experience developing mobile applications with Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of API integration, SDK usage and mobile security best practices.
• Ability to write performant, scalable and maintainable code.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality user experiences.
