Mobile Engineer – Treasury

About the role

Stripe is building Treasury, a unified platform that lets businesses manage all of their financial needs in one place. As a Mobile Engineer on the Direct Surfaces team, you will create the mobile experience that powers this new product, shaping how users interact with Treasury on their devices.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a world‑class mobile experience for Treasury users.
• Scope and lead technical projects, laying the groundwork for iterative evolution and scaling.
• Design, build, expand, and maintain cross‑platform mobile view components, backing APIs, and services.
• Collaborate with partners to design and launch new features and capabilities.
• Align technical decisions with Stripe’s strategic initiatives while advocating for emerging business needs.
• Work with engineers across the company to decide when to reuse existing infrastructure versus building bespoke solutions.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term roadmaps, balancing business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of industry experience as a software engineer.
• Experience building mobile applications beyond the client layer.
• Strong understanding of UI and API best practices.
• Focus on business impact rather than code volume.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and earn trust at all levels.
• Passion for mentorship and growing engineering talent.
• Preference for simple, scalable solutions.
• Thrives in a collaborative, diverse environment.
