Mobile Maintenance Engineer – Commercial Buildings

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer to provide planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a portfolio of commercial buildings in Bicester and surrounding areas. The role involves travelling to client sites, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, and ensuring building services operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial sites.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Service and maintain HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, and VRV/VRF units, as well as pumps and motors.
• Perform general plumbing works such as TMV servicing, tap replacements, and pipework repairs.
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
• Undertake basic water hygiene and L8 compliance tasks.
• Carry out general building fabric repairs and maintenance.
• Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance documentation.

Required profile

• City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing or Air Conditioning.
• Proven experience in commercial building services maintenance.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
