Mobile Mechanical Engineer – London Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our London maintenance team, providing on‑site support for a portfolio of prime commercial properties. You will work from a company van, delivering planned and reactive mechanical services across central London.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on mechanical plant including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and general plumbing.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in LTHW/DHW systems, TMVs, calorifiers and heating circuits.
• Carry out basic electrical PPMs such as lighting, socket checks and fire‑alarm testing.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
• Proven experience in commercial mechanical maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence and confidence navigating London.

Required skills

• AHU and FCU servicing
• Pump and motor maintenance
• Plumbing and heating system fault finding (LTHW/DHW, TMV, calorifier)
• Basic electrical PPM – lighting, sockets, fire‑alarm testing
